Once you have your MDE Pro plugin file and personal embed code from OurNetHelps, installing MDE Pro on a WordPress site takes about three minutes. There is no coding involved, no theme editing, and no developer needed. This guide walks through every step from installing the plugin to seeing the tool live on your page, including what to do if something does not appear where you expect it.
What You Need Before You Start
Three things, all of which OurNetHelps sends you when your account is set up:
- mde-pro-wp.zip: the plugin file. This is the same file for every broker. Do not unzip it. WordPress installs directly from the ZIP.
- Your embed code: a script tag that starts with
<script src="https://ournethelps.com/..."and contains your unique broker key, name, phone, NMLS, and application URL. Every broker’s embed code is different. - WordPress admin access: you need to be able to log in to your site’s admin dashboard. No FTP, no file editing, no developer access required.
The script tag OurNetHelps sends contains your personal broker key. That key is what connects the tool to your site and your private dashboard. Do not share your embed code with other brokers.
Step 1: Install the Plugin
Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard. From the left sidebar, go to Plugins, then click Add New Plugin at the top of the page.
WordPress shows this button directly below the page title. Click it and a file upload area appears.
Click “Choose File,” navigate to wherever you saved the ZIP file OurNetHelps sent, and select it. The filename should be mde-pro-wp.zip. Do not unzip it first.
WordPress installs the file and shows a confirmation screen. Click “Activate Plugin” on that screen. The plugin is now installed and running on your site.
After activating, look at your WordPress left sidebar under Settings. You should now see MDE Pro listed there. If you see it, the plugin installed correctly.
Step 2: Paste Your Embed Code
Go to Settings in your WordPress sidebar and click MDE Pro. This opens the plugin settings page.
You will see a large text area with the label “Paste the embed code provided by OurNetHelps.” Click inside it and paste your complete script tag. It starts with:

data-broker-logo=""></script>After pasting your code, click Save & Activate. The badge at the top of the page will turn green and show Active. That means the plugin has saved your code correctly and MDE Pro is ready to appear on your site.
Make sure you pasted the entire script tag including the opening <script and closing </script>. The plugin needs the complete tag to read your broker details correctly. If it still does not activate, email services@ournethelps.com with a screenshot.
Step 3: Place the Tool on Your Page
The plugin runs silently in your site footer. The tool itself only appears on pages where you place a small container element. This means you control exactly where MDE Pro shows up, and it is invisible everywhere else on your site.
Go to the page where you want MDE Pro to appear. Edit that page and add a Custom HTML block. In Gutenberg, click the plus button to add a new block, search for “Custom HTML,” and select it. Paste this single line inside the block:

Add the container div to as many pages as you want. Your homepage, a specific loan-type page, a landing page for paid ads. The same plugin handles all of them automatically.
Step 4: Verify It Is Working
Open the live page in a browser. Not the WordPress editor preview. The actual published URL. The tool should appear where you placed the container div, showing your name, photo, and NMLS in the header from the moment it loads.
Use realistic numbers. The assessment covers two sections across 8 questions: The Home (loan type, home price, down payment, interest rate, loan length) and Your Finances (household income, monthly debts, credit score range). No credit pull, no signup, no commitment is required to see the results. Check that your Readiness Score, Approval Likelihood with its four factor bars (DTI, credit, down payment, and cash flow), and the bridge CTA all appear correctly.
On the results screen, click the Continue to Secure Mortgage Application button and confirm it opens your actual application system: Floify, Arive, LendingPad, Loanzify, PreApp 1003, Encompass, Blend, or any URL you use.
Open the dashboard URL OurNetHelps sent you. After running through the assessment yourself, you should see the Tool Loaded and Started counts increase. This confirms tracking is working correctly.

Using MDE Pro With Page Builders
If your site uses Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, or another page builder instead of the Gutenberg block editor, the process is the same. Add an HTML or Code module to your page and paste the container div inside it. The plugin injects the script into your site footer automatically, so you never need to edit your theme files.
Add an HTML widget to your page. Paste the container div inside it. Publish. Done.
Add a Code module to your section. Paste the container div inside it. Save and publish.
Add an HTML module. Paste the container div. Publish the page.
Look for an HTML, Code, or Embed module in your builder. Paste the container div there.
Most page builder preview modes do not execute external scripts. The tool will not appear in the editor. Always check on the live published page, not the preview.
How Updates Work
You do not need to do anything when MDE Pro updates. The tool runs from OurNetHelps servers, so every improvement, fix, or new feature deploys to your site automatically the moment a visitor loads the page. You will never need to reinstall the plugin, update a file, or touch your WordPress settings again unless you want to change your embed code details.
If your phone number, application URL, or NMLS changes, email services@ournethelps.com with the updated details. OurNetHelps will send you a new embed code. Go back to Settings, MDE Pro, paste the updated code, and click Save & Activate. That is the only time you need to open the plugin settings after the initial setup.
